INTERNATIONAL: The Czech Republic has become the first NATO country to send tanks to Ukraine, including T-72 and armored infantry vehicles. This delivery is understood as a gift by NATO allies following President Zelenskyy’s plea for help for more than a month. Several BVP-1 infantry fighting vehicles, howitzer artillery pieces, and more than a dozen T-72 tanks were loaded on a train bound for Slovakia where they are expected to head on to Ukraine.

In the meanwhile, the US Army tanks, fighting vehicles, and other equipment arrived in Denmark en route to Poland. For the next nine months, they will be used to support the deployment of a US armored brigade in Europe in part of an effort called “Atlantic Resolve” which involves the routine, pre-planned rotation of US Army units to Europe.

There is a fear that NATO will soon be dragged into the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war that was started on 24 February.

The wall of a villa belonging to Russian state TV host Vladimir Soloviev in northern Italy was vandalized and spray-painted with the words “Killer” and “No War.” The red paint was also poured into his residence's swimming pool.

A fire broke out in the early hours at his second villa near the lake with limited damage.

The houses are part of properties worth a total of 8 million euros ($8.7 million) owned by Soloviev in Italy, which was seized after the EU released the list of sanctioned oligarchs following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Scientists in Chile have unearthed a rare cemetery with well-preserved bones of ancient flying reptiles that roamed the Atacama desert more than 100 million years ago.

The scientists determined the remains belong to pterosaurs, flying creatures with long wingspans that lived alongside dinosaurs, and fed by filtering water through their long thin teeth, similar to flamingos.

Most pterosaur bones that are found are flattened and broken, but these newly discovered bones are well-preserved. Jhonatan Alarcon, who led a group of scientists to this discovery, said that this discovery will not only help them study anatomy but also their habits and how they lived.

The find was made 65 kilometers (40.39 miles) away from another site where other pterosaur remains were found. This discovery supports scientists' hypothesis that pterosaurs were once widespread in northern Chile.
